The Citizens Committee Lending Library is a resource for grassroots groups around the city to borrow equipment for their projects. We do not loan out equipment to individuals.

Grantees of Citizens Committee are automatically eligible to use the Lending Library. To request a loan, email porozco@citizensnyc.org. Please include:

1. Your group name
2. What you will be using the equipment for (event, meeting, etc.)
3. Name, phone number, and email of the person who will be responsible for the equipment
4. Equipment you want to borrow
5. Time and date when you will pick up
6. Time and date when you will drop off

Non-grantees can also use the Lending Library. Send a request to porozco@citizensnyc.org with the following information:

1. Your group name and purpose
2. What you will be using the equipment for (event, meeting, etc.)
3. Name, phone number, and email of the person who will be responsible for the equipment
4. Two names, phone numbers, and email addresses of partner individuals or groups who can serve as a reference for your group. (For example, local non-profits, partner gardens, other community leaders. We ask for this information for non-grantee groups as a verification of your group as well as a back-up contact if we are unable to reach you to return the equipment)
5. Equipment you want to borrow. Please note if you are not a grantee you can only borrow 1 expensive item.
